국내 패션 브랜드 쿠어의 백화점 스토어를 위한 디자인 프로젝트입니다. 기존 쿠어가 지닌 미니멀한 무드를 바탕으로, 그 위에 자연스러움을 담아내고자 했습니다. 백화점이라는 공간 특성에 맞춰 비슷하게 나열된 매장들 사이에서 방문객의 이목을 끌고, 이 공간이 방문객에게 여유로운 쉼을 제공할 수 있기를 바랐습니다. 따라서, 공간을 가득 채우기보다는 비워내는 방식으로 접근하였고, 한가운데에 위치한 삭제할 수 없는 기둥을 공간의 하나의 요소처럼 탈바꿈시켜 자연스럽게 어우러지면서도 포인트가 될 수 있도록 설계하였습니다. 또한, 좁은 공간의 장변을 의도적으로 유지해 깊이감을 더하고, 차분한 톤 앤 매너에 어두운 톤의 집기로 묵직하게 눌러주어 공간의 균형을 맞추며 쿠어의 무드를 강조하였습니다.

This project is for the department store store design of the domestic fashion brand Coor. The design is based on Coor's existing minimalist mood, with an added sense of naturalness. In contrast to the uniformity of department store layouts, the goal was to catch the attention of visitors and create a space where they could experience a relaxed and restful atmosphere. Therefore, instead of filling the space, the approach was to focus on creating an open, airy environment. The column in the center of the space, which could not be removed, was transformed into a functional element that blends naturally while also becoming a focal point. Additionally, the long side of the relatively small space was intentionally preserved to create a sense of depth. The use of darker-toned fixtures in a calm tone and manner grounds the space, balancing the design and highlighting Coor’s mood.
