평택시 장안동에 위치한 카페의 인테리어 디자인 프로젝트입니다. 총 3개의 동으로 구성된 공간은 2개의 브릿지로 연결되며, 각 동마다 조금씩 다른 분위기를 연출하여 다채롭고 풍성한 공간을 만들고자 했습니다.

건물의 입구로 들어와 가장 먼저 맞이하는 2동은 밝고 환한 분위기를 강조하고, 길게 늘어선 바가 중심이 되어 바리스타가 내리는 커피의 향기가 공간을 채우기를 바랐습니다. 2동을 지나 이어지는 3동은 따뜻하고 안정감을 주는 나무 소재의 가구들로 편안한 분위기를 만들어주며, 다른 동들에 비해 다소 무게감 있는 느낌을 주는 1동은 높은 천장과 어두운 컬러로 공간에 힘을 더하고자 했습니다. 카페의 주요 활동이 이루어지는 1층은 키친, 로스팅룸, 제빵 공간 등 카페의 중요한 기능을 담당하는 공간들로 구성되며, 2층은 직원들이 별도의 업무를 볼 수 있는 공간을 분리하여 효율적이고 기능적으로 필요한 부분을 모두 갖추도록 설계하였습니다.

This project focuses on the interior design of a cafe located in Jang'an-dong, Pyeongtaek. The space is composed of three buildings connected by two bridges, with each building offering a slightly different atmosphere to create a rich and diverse spatial experience.

Upon entering the building, the first building you encounter is the second one, which emphasizes a bright and airy ambiance, with a long bar as the central feature, filling the space with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. As you pass through the second building, you enter the third building, which offers a warm and comforting atmosphere with wooden furniture, while the first building, which has a more substantial presence, uses high ceilings and dark colors to provide a sense of strength. The ground floor of the cafe is dedicated to essential functions, including the kitchen, roasting room, and a space for baking, which are crucial to the cafe's operations. On the second floor, spaces are divided to accommodate the staff’s needs, allowing for an efficient and functional use of space while providing everything required for their tasks.
