이 프로젝트는 재료의 시작부터 끝까지 고려한 비건 레스토랑 디자인입니다.

무분별한 자원 채취로 인한 생태계 파괴가 큰 이슈가 되고 있는 가운데, 우리는 친환경을 내세운 공간들에 대해 의문을 가지고 "가공의 최소화, 자원 순환 구조"라는 모토를 설정하여 접근했습니다. 또한, 이 공간이 철거될 경우 사용된 재료들이 모두 재사용될 수 있도록, 공간을 채우는 대표적인 재료로 금속을 선정했습니다. 새로운 금속을 사용하기보다는, 이미 사용되었거나 버려져 의미가 없어졌던 재료들을 찾아 새로운 가치를 부여하고자, 버려진 알루미늄을 압축해 놓은 큐브를 활용했습니다. 이 큐브들은 공간의 아이덴티티를 표현할 뿐만 아니라, 방문객에게 자원 순환과 재사용의 중요성에 대한 메시지를 전달하려는 의도를 담고 있습니다.

This project is a vegan restaurant design that considers materials from start to finish.

With the growing issue of ecosystem destruction caused by indiscriminate resource extraction, we questioned the spaces created under the guise of sustainability. We approached the design with the motto "minimization of processing and resource circulation." Furthermore, to ensure that all materials used in the space can be reused even if the space is eventually demolished, metal was chosen as the primary material. Instead of using new metal, we sought to repurpose discarded or meaningless materials by using compressed cubes made from discarded aluminum. These cubes not only represent the identity of the space based on our motto but also aim to convey a message to visitors about the importance of resource circulation and reuse.
