SNU서울안과의 일부 공간을 대기실, 회복실, 수술 준비실 등으로 리뉴얼한 프로젝트입니다. 젊은 층의 환자들이 주로 이용하는 대기실은 ‘발란스’에 특별히 신경을 썼으며, 수술을 앞두고 긴장하지 않도록 병원처럼 보이지 않기를 원하는 클라이언트의 요구에 맞춰 시각적 착각을 일으킬 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다. 회복실은 환자들이 편안함을 느낄 수 있도록 심플한 가구와 오브제를 선택하여 디자인하였고, 기존에 다른 용도로 사용되었던 공간을 새로운 용도에 맞게 변화시켜 재탄생시켰습니다.

This project involves the renewal of several areas within SNU Seoul Eye Clinic, transforming them into a waiting area, recovery room, and surgical preparation room. The waiting area, primarily used by younger patients, was designed with special attention to 'balance,' while also incorporating visual illusions to ensure that the space doesn’t resemble a typical hospital, as requested by the client, to help patients feel less anxious before surgery. The recovery room was designed with simple furniture and objects to create a comfortable atmosphere for the patients. Existing spaces, which were previously used for different purposes, were transformed to suit their new functions.
